How many different trail centres is it possible to ride in a week?
I've got a week off work soon and want to do something exciting with it.

probably 5 or so, could do a few in south wales then drive to d a few in north wales and central/west england0

Best to pick your favourite few and ride them lots, rather than rush as many as possible.

Well I live right by Cannock so thats a morning start then im thinking Peebles one day then down to Coed-y-brennin and Machlynth(sp) for another day.

Where do you live or are you going to go all over the country?

Cwm Carn + Afan Argoed are possible in one day (although not all trails at Afan)
Next Day Breckfa Forest, then travel to Aberystwyth, next day, Nant Y Arian in the morning, Coed Y Brennin in the Afternoon, travel to Wrexham, Coed Llandegla in the morning, Delamere in the afternoon, travel back to the Midlands for a blast around Cannock.

I live in Birmingham but have car and will travel. Also have family in Aberystwyth and Ayrshire offering accommodation at those places.

Couldn't say. never been Drumlanrig, but from the descriptions I've read, it sounds pretty boring.
Depends what sort of riding you're into but I'd probably try and stick to the 7 stanes.
