In order to bypass your school network filter you need to use a proxy server. The theory is explained in this site:

I have the same probablem with school PCs, I want to play games while the teacher ain't looking and the damn filter blocks it all! I know a way of getting around the filter though! It may not work but try this;
Tools ----> Internet options and then fiddle with the options. ( I have forgot how to do it properly)

There have been topics like this in the past, try a search. If i recall correctly, there was a way of entering a site's IP through the command console which would sometimes work. Search it.

Proxy sites are normally slow, find out the unfiltered proxy settings from a teachers/6th form account.

My school:

Filtered: student.proxy.beaufortcs.org
Unfiltered: destudent.proxy.beaufortcs.org - port 8080

Then you go Tools>Options>Advanced>Settings under Firefox

My mate deleted some teachers work and he got suspended for three days. He did delete the thing for the sixth form people to make them look good though.

Proxy sites normally dont work with games, they dont load up, you just need to find random game sites on google.

Type in the game you want and then go onto page 20 on google and try those links

In almost all schools you wont be able to edit the internet settings, and command prompt is usually disabled. Proxies are OK but in my school, if you are caught using them then your account gets access to the internet disabled.

You could try installing Firefox or similar where these settings aren't disabled, but it usually doesn't work. Instead, you can put the installation on a disc. In my school you have to open the disc tray BEFORE Windows starts, so the limits haven't run yet to disable the disc tray.

Alternatively, you could do the fucking work, is all the risks and effort really worth it for a crappy game?

It can be easy or impossible to bypas this stuf. Depends how much your school's IT guys know. Back when I was in school, our teacher and IT guy was utterly useless, so we could pretty much do what we wanted. We even had a hidden partition on his own system where we stored doom and quake!
