what upgrades?

I just bought my carrera kraken a week back[:D] and ive got money spare to upgrade it.
Is there anything that needs upgrading?
What should i upgrade/replace?
I have about up to œ100.

Save the cash & replace what you break when you need to.

Although saying that tyres are one of the best cheap upgrades, Panaracer Fire XC Pro's are my fave for all round xc/trail usage, cost ~œ40 for a pair of folding ones.

You never realise how bad something is unless you have something to compare it to

The Panaracers in my last post weigh 590g each, I saved 200g by swapping over from the steel bead versions to the kevlar folding ones, lighter means more agile & less weight to lug about on the trails, plus a higher TPI (threads per inch) means a more supple tyre which should give more grip.

Flog the current forks, then get on ebay with your œ130ish and find some marzocchis, they will transform the bike!
