I'm seriously bored and i cant manage to find anything which lets you download free demos. Tried Dirt yesterday but machine couldn't cope with the spec needed [:(!] Anyone know of racing games that i can download? Pl0x

Trackmania nations is free, fun (in an arcade game kinda way) and doesnt need an uber spec pc to run [:)]

He's probably talking about Starforce, a copy protection system that's seriously flawed. It f<b></b>uc<b></b>ked up lots of drives etc. on a lot of people's computers

Yes it does, dad had a hell of a problem to sort it out. Was on many websites.

Computer isn't that lower spec but the graphic card wasn't capable of running Dirt for some reason.

Interesting. never had any bad affects with any of the pc's i've used it on.

EDIT - I've also got Toca 2 and 3 installed, as well as silent hunter 3 and 4. no ill effects that i've noticed.

LOL! it took about 5 installs and 3 weeks emailing codemasters to get it working on a mates pc, and that was a perfectly legitimate copy! Come to think about it, that was the protection system that was causing havok in that case... Hmmmm......

Live for Speed is a small development team dedicated to making the best online racing simulator. Our current release is S2 with which we attempt to recreate the thrill and fun of real racing, by simulating all aspects important to racing. Varying racing environments and cars which can be setup by an abundance of options - all on your home pc.

So what will you find in LFS S2? The DEMO allows you access to 3 cars and one racing environment that has both a road and rallycross course, available in both directions. The cars available are a front wheel drive hatchback, and one rear wheel drive car which is also available in a turbo version.
The FULL version, adds five more racing environments, a big test area and 15 additional cars - The test area contains many configurations; a skidpad and an autocross area, including an editor to create your own autocross tracks.
