rock shox rear sid x/c shock

Hi, bought the rear shock from crc, but it came with no instructions! Want to know how you set it up...pumped it up to nearly 200lbs on the top valve,and 180lbs on the bottom and it still bottoms out. I'm only 11st, and it seams silly to have so much pressure on it, wondering if it's faulty? Just hope someone knows how to set it up because i've fiddeled with it to no avail, or i'm just used to the spring!

tried that...only seam to do the latest models! just hoped someone might have one and know how to do it. [:(]0

It sounds like you've confused the two valves and put 200 psi in the negative air chamber and 180 in the positive, which would cause what you say.
