Hi everyone. I'm in France as a canoe instructor on the dordogne - not the most mountainous region of france. i want to get out and get riding as my transition bottlerocket freeride rig is itching to get beasted. I can use the good rail networks to get around but wanted to know of any good places to go and experiences. I know about les gets morzine and chamonix but ive also heard about andorra which would be closer to me too. If anyone has any ideas that would be cool. Cheers guys

ive spent a few summers in the pyrenees, some excellent riding down there. Best would be luchon (bagneres de luchon) its about 1800m, has ski lifts, an excellent (english run) B&B (ran by mountain biker who's also a lush cook) a quality bar (chez rocco) and a general all round nice vibe. Well worth the trip, i'd be back there this year if i wasnt doing the megavalanche in the alps. If you do go, do GR10 - fan f**kin tastic!0
