Loose Chainset Bolt

Hi All
I have a trek with a bontrager chainset. The only proble I am having is the bolt holding the left crank arm in place keeps working its way loose result in movement.
This doesnt happen on a ride with easy terrain but does on anything more difficult. Any advice on how to resolve it..
I probably need to replace the bolt too as its head is starting to go out of shape. soon I won't be able to tight it at all..
Any ideas...????

Replace the bolt at first and use threadlock as said above,
Sounds like a set of square taper cranks, If there has been any sort of movement between the crank and taper then the crank will already have rounded off and it will soon be time to look at replacing the cranks and BB with a better setup such as shimano hollowtec or raceface xdrive, Truvative also do their own version.
havent fallen off,
im just having a rest

The cranset is the Bontrager version using a Truvativ Giga X-Pipe bottom bracket.
Know any good retailers where I can can get a truvativ bolt. I'll then have a look at the crank arm when I replace the bolt and look at the wear..
and maybe look into replacing them.. Any ideas where I can get a bolt from...?0 -
