I have a Marin Rocky Ridge and am looking to put 203mm rotors on it, i was told that i mightn't be able to put them on so i E-mail'd Marin and they said that there was a bracket i could get to install the rotors.
<i>"If you would like to put 8" rotors on your Rocky Ridge there is a bracket that you can buy to extend your disc brake caliper so the 8" rotor can be installed."</i>
Has anyone ever heard of these or used them, if so what do you think of them?

I've got one on the front of my ransom, I dont really think about it - it just works. Just bolts onto the fork, then you bolt the caliper onto the bracket, simple as.
Think mine is a shimano one, you might have to get one that matches your brakes but I'm not sure.

What you need is an adapter, you can but which ever one you need from chain reaction http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Cate ... goryID=563 it depends on whether your front brake is post mount or not, look on the sticky brake mount folder for more info
