Anyone have measurements/plan/blue print for one to build a ramp/kicker? Any links, suggestion, etc etc much appreciated.

  • Took me about 2 hours to make a wooden one. Definetly worth doing was about 40cm high and was nice to put right at the top of a steep hill [:)]

the plastic rampage ramps are crap, build your own one using the links in nicklouse's tech sticky, that way you can build one that gives a worthwhile kick

they're fun, but lets face it, they don't exactly have much of a kick to them

Actually they are wicked! Like "rideitgood" said, if you set it up on the verge of a steep hill they are fun as hell!

i had one of the plastic one's and my mate hit it and it broke. if u have them at the top of a hill can have some fun but other ways they arent worth it. if you want one just make it [:D]

Yes, you are correct! That is a big ramp! I could have a lot of fun with that on a steep bank/field...[;)]

    The takeoff ramp - œ70, landing - œ50-60 and the top section - œ70-80

Its not hard. but ideally you want someone to help build it. things tend to get heavy quick, and its hard to put the cross braces on the ramps etc.

Only finished the top section today, and while putting the legs on the whole thing nearly fell into a car [:o] Must weigh in excess of 80kg. stupidly over engineered

I guess it would be a case of cutting out choice sections of the sides to lower the weight?
That way you get hand holds as well...

it wasn't designed to be. i'd have made it much smaller (or out of box section steel so it could be dismantled) if i wanted to move it a lot.
