I've gotta admit and some will know from a few of my post's that i am a little old skool when it comes to XC bikes, anyways I'll cut to the chase...
Seat Posts, mine is starting to show signs of being past its best, and I'm thinking about a USE item, always wanted one but never gotten around to buying one, now i am in a position of needing a post, are USE still up there at the top of the heap with Easton and the like, or is it just old skool bling and i need to re-adjust my opinions and get into all this new kit?

USE are ok, Easton might be a better bet but top of the heap now are Thomson seatposts in my opinion.
They're expensive but very light and very strong and don't scratch up as easily as most other posts.
