The thread on the left side of the BB yoke has worn away somehow. From the left face 5mm of thread has somehow managed to wear down so that is no longer usable i have an XT HollowTech II bb i did have the two largest spacers on this side, can i simply just put the spacers on the drive side? (therefor letting the left cup screw into complete thread)
This might save a couple of replies.
I havent got enough money to buy a new frame.
There is very little material so rethreading would have very little effect.
Please help.

Putting the spacers on the drive side would likely mess up the chainline so I wouldn't advise it.
I have heard about places being able to put an insert into the shell (possibly a helicoil or something like that?) so that you can cut the threads and save the frame but i'm not 100% sure about the process.

You can get the threads chased if their just a bit mis-shapen, If theyve gone completely then it may be best to have it reamed and a new insert fitted,
