Hi,

I am looking for some local rides that I can go one without strapping my bike to the back of the car.

I live fairly close to Junction 16 of the M6, Audley.

I am hoping to find some routes that are mainly off road but they don't have to be completely.

Thanks
Simon

I know, (cannock chase, the peaks and wales are all within 1 1/2 hours) I am not expecting to find really great routes locally but something that I can go on when I get home from work at 7pm.

No worries, I have a single route at the moment that is about 25% off road. It's got some fairly good hills in it so is quite interesting but after doing it loads recently I am getting a bit sick of it. I can see a weekend of looking at the OS map is in order.
