yeah, the sx is more freeride orientated, but there isn't a huge difference, talas would be very nice on an enduro.

I have a set of 36 talas on my SX trial and am more than happy with it.
Not sure about the travel things as never checked it. Seems ok to me.

Grammar, punctuation and spelling. Please learn to use them.
Have you played about with the settings on the fork at all?
IIRC, they have adjustable travel?

That would be embarrassing. Realing that you left it in 100mm travel mode!

Yes, it aint hard. Your forks will get dusty - try and compress the fork as much as you can, and then measure to where the dust begins.
Some forks dont always reach full travel, and can be several mm off what the manufacturer quotes.0 -
i know its not hard, i know how to set sag, travel, and rebound.
i also know you don't always get stated travel however 130mm instaed of the stated 150mm, surely thats not right?
don't think manufacturers should be aloud to advertise a lie, what about trading standards.0 -
I will measure mine later if i get time and post on here the results.

I didn't actually mean you, you've made an effort, which is far more than most others.
There are quite a few dyslexic members of the forum too.

the fox van r is a good all round fork that will cope with loads of punishment . . .not a fan of the talas . .nothing but problems with mine anyway.0

I've got talas RLC 140s on my bike and they are veeeeeeerrry nice, feel nicer than the marzocchis I had on my old bike.
36s are more hardcore, probably slightly heavier but stronger aswell as they have huge thick stanchions (36mm diameter hence the name.)
