Raw2 vs Gt chucker

hi guys
I know this is a hard one as they are soo different but what is better in jump and durability (spelling) terms

im only asking as my chucker has had loads of problems with gears and such and I have the chance to get another new one or a different bike
i like the look of the raw as it looks more downhill but is it a look a like bike?
please help im loosing my marbles over it [:D]

got the be the chucker everytime, all the main components will be better because saracen will have spent more money on rear shock extra frame material etc

Well I do have a GT Chucker XS.2 and its a superb bike if you look after it! I have smashed mine up a few times I admit but there easy to repair under warranty!
Get another Chucker!

They're both complete rubbish, get the Commencal.

I know why he refused the Commencal! Because hes shopping in Halfords! I looked in there the other day at that Raw2 but didn't like the geo on it..

I had a go on the raw and as far as i'm concerned its naff. The chucker has the triple triangle so its bulletproof. the Saracen would probably bend landing a tail whip[:D]

Also have you considered the saracen Mantra 2 instead of the raw? with a small frame? 17 or 15? they look cool and are quite a good spec for the money. Halfords sell them along side the raw

i had a chucker 2 and hated i think the frame is okay but i upgraded EVERY single part on mine0

Apart from the fact that the stock components are rubbish, the wheel base is ridiculously small and the back end is so short that it can only just accept the wheel. Theres literally 3-4mm of clearance with the derailler attached, and not a lot more without. Also the head angle seems very tight, much tighter than the figures they quote on the GT website (although I have 2005 frame). Strong frame but not the best Geo.
Still, better than the Saracen.

They are both crap the stp is a much better idea, has a good frame that actually deserves some upgrad

paint job is standard dude! and honestly the forks are awful! they are some cheap manitou's got them for œ30 new! I have only put them on for the time being as my old rock shox's exploded!, Im looking into getting some rs argyle's soon ish

Do not go over 130mm MAX on a the Chucker.
Triple clamps would snap the headtube if you did anything!!!
If youre looking for new forks get DJ3's or Argyles
