Why can't you put a front wheel on the back of a bike?
I am asking because i'm building a bike and am only planning to fit a rear brake, and as the frame doesn't have v mounts my only choice is to fit a disc. However, the wheelset im buying (from ebay lol...) only has a disc hub on the front brake..

because the front wheel doesnt have the right sort of hub, the back 1 needs to be able to have the gears/SS on it
