Totem or 66?

Hi,
My fox vanillas have started to leak oil everywhere, which is a bit sh*te seeing as they're only just over a year old. I need some forks that can handle the abuse I give them, and that will slacken the head angle a bit on my bike.
What would you recommend between totems or 66's? Does anyone have experience of both? Are there any others I should be considering?
Cheers,
duff

Have you had them serviced since you bought them, where is the oil coming from. If you got them new then they need to be services once the seals bed in apparently, they they'll run fine for ages.

Always remember to pick your Uni according to the local trails or you'll be stuck with nowhere to ride for three years!0 -
I haven't had them serviced yet. The oil is leaking from the seals. I'll replace the seals and give them a service when I take them off to replace them with the long-travel forks.0

Considered FOX 36's?
But out of those I would still go for 66's, although the damping on new Totems is supposed to be ace.
not working

Sometimes it overheats. You have to make sure it's in a ventilated place all the time.

Personally, i'd be looking at 66's. they are just so simple, and just work! not had any problems with my 66rc2x's in the year i've had them. no leaks or anything. very happy!

Something round here tastes bad. Could be plain old bad taste.

Totems are so much plusher than 66's, but 66's have such a good name and are so reliable.
Ive had a go on marin quake XLT with 66's and an SX with Totems.
If it was down to me, i'd go for 66's purely because they are just so nice and simple.
Totems are amazing though [:D]

My 66's fell apart the first time within a month, then again a few months later.
My Totems are over 6 months old now & i've done nothing to them & they are great.
So much for Marzochhi's famous reliablity. Totem is leagues apart from the 66. You can tell they actually thought about the design.
Meep Meep!

Yeah, I don't fancy fox 36's what with the probs I've had with my current forks. Was heading towards 66's over totems because they were cheaper, lighter and had a history of reliability. Oh well, more thinking required I think.0
