i have recently started work on a new trail and was wondering if anyone has advice on the best way to be building berms? At the minute we just pile up big logs with supports round the edge and pack lots of mud against it. this is time cosuming, surely theres a quicker way. Any advice appreciated...

cut squares of topsoil and turf and then pack them down, the grass helps bind it together aswell
