dawes reddle

im just getting into xc and im thinking about buying my first xc bike. my lbs has offered me a dawes reddle for œ500, which seems good, but is it? any other suggestions of bikes up to œ500 would be greatly appreciated. thanks,

    Seems an awful lot for that, since you can get it here for a lot less.

    If you can go to œ600 this is an impressive XC bike.
