hi
i have set my forks back to the shop and when i took them off all the ball bearing fell out the bearing body. im just wondering what i need to replace a hole headset or what. if it a new headset are they easy to fit.

If you can find and fit new balls yourself it will save you some money and your headset will probably be ok for a while. Balls are quite unexpensive. Fitting a new headset is not an easy task to DIY as you have to press fit the cups onto the frame and that has to be done properly. If you buy a decent headset, though, your LBS will most likely install it for free0
