Tow Rope Assist for MTB

Hi
I know this may seem like a strange question but is there such a device that can be used by one MTB to give a tow assist on steep hill and routes to another MTB
The reason i ask is that when the wife comes out with me some of the uphill sections are a little too steep for her and this reduces the cardio rate for me and increases the time taken to complete the ride , but with a little tow on the steep sections it would help us both with our session
Am i completley Bonkers or has anyone seen, made or used such a device

thanks for that i had thought of that one too [;)]
Was just wondering if there is a proper designed device featuring a quick release device in case she falls off
Other than that then i guess i will go for the high tech rop system [:D]0 -

Theres one way that would work if you want it to release if she falls off, When we had uplifts at Nannerch DH track when the landy was full we towed another 2 people up the hill aswell, Just wraped the rope around under the stem then held on to it between one of your hands and the grip if you get me?

Keep it Simple
Thanks John0 -
MY dad use to tow me and my mate up my meadow thing on his quad, and we wrapped rope around th stem/handlebar and then hold on, so when we bout to fall off you let go.
Thats the same as what John just said, except its behind a Quad, BIG difference
