new bike needed

hey people, i was looking for a new bike that is mostly aimed at doing downhill riding but i can still manage to complete XC tracks on, something similar to the Norco six3, i dont have a huge budget (around 1200) so any suggestions would be amazin!! thanks

    if you stuck some lighter tyres or even wheels on a six3 i think it would pedal quite well for xc,then you could swap back for dh

    i have a Norco shore 3, i use it for everything, and can be bought now for œ999 from winstanleys. i think its great, ive just entered a 29 mile charity road race with it! gonna be funny! and i use it for the 5 mile ride to my local trails, have fun on everything(jumps, DH etc.) then ride home again!
