as someone in the article said, it's hideous
although the range of colours does sound good - will however detract from the universalness of the emblem if they are all different, but hey, adds some colour to it

however, was a bit worried by the bit that seb coe said about it being the basis for the stadiums etc that they are going to be building, and the inspiration which they hope to give to young athletes etc... simply because of the design and how crap it looks

anyone else agree?

The BBC were running an online competition to get a better homemade logo. Someone got a goatse logo in there. It even got shown on BBC News 24 before they realised and took it down.

Actually, I really don't mind it.

When I first saw it, I thought it was absolutely terrible, but it doesn't look as bad now. A different colour would improve it somewhat.

But the fact that it cost 400k is stupid.
