More comfy ride

hi all very new to biking,
need some help with this,
will this bike be ok with a Rock Shox Tora 302 (100mm travel)?
the current headangle is bout 70degrees (i think) will it be ok?

i was told that if i added a front suspension, the headtube angle will make my frame very fragile, of ripping...0 -
Hmm i think i would stick with rigids. You notice that at the moment, the chainstays are parallel with the ground, so when a suspension fork is added, they will be pointing upwards due to the added length of the forks. This alters the bottom bracket height and generally messes up the geometry of the bike. You could do it, but it wont ride as nicely as it does, and you do run the risk of snapping the head tube.

No it won't be ok.
It's a 26" Cruiser, made for <b>non-suspension corrected forks</b>.
Put suspension on it and it'll ride like crap and probably break.

looks like i'll have to find some fatter tires...
its riding fine now, just that the front is a lil too low...
plan is to add a riser stem n riser bar....
anything else i should do to make it a more comfy ride?
its used for leisure riding...0 -
i was wondering if there is such a thing as a 4 - 5" riser bar....
was lookin at a 3" one, which seems to be the highest...0 -
bmx cruiser bars perhaps?0
