i'm trying to decide between the garmin forerunner 305 and the garmin edge 305. i like the idea of being able to use the forerunner when i go hiking, but am worried that the display is a bit small. but i haven't seen it in the flesh, so don't know. i can get a cadence sensor for both of them, so they will both work as bike computers. has anyone here got either? what do you think of them? do they still keep a signal lock under trees?
thanx!

I've got the Edge 305. No problem with signals under trees - more in built up areas or going under railway bridges - you get spikes appear on the graphs when you download the data afterwards.
Clear and easy to read display - you can choose how many features it displays and also toggle between to different sets of data and the press of a button.
