Throat infection

Lets say for purely hypothetical reasons, that I gave a girl oral sex last night, and woke up this morning with a swollen throat. Do you think they could be linked, or is it more likely to be something else? No problems with past experiences ( same girl ), and im the only one she has been in contact with in the past year or so.
I was at a party though and there was atleast 30 folk there, so I possibly could have picked up an infection from someone else?
_Purely_ hypothetical of course.

    Someone at my work went out to a stripclub as part of a stagnight, and caught a strippers undergarments with his face. He managed to get crabs in his eyebrows.
