What kind of job are we talking about? XC? Personally, I'd stay away from the cheap Manitou stuff.

yeah, i had heard they tend to be a bit dodgy, mainly xc, sometimes a bit more ruff, but not anything XTR3ME or RAD

mx pro yeah, but its fugly, has v-brake bosses and doesnt lock out. is it really *that* much better? i could do with the extra travel and lockout, and adjustability of the relic.

EDIT:: ohhhhhhhh..... i can only get the 80mm with my 170 squids. damn

If you want full lockout with adjustable ability go for an tora 302 but if your worried about weight its about a kg heavier and with even uglier v brake mounts than the mx
