bought some pads of ebay œ4.99 seemed ok at first whilst in packaging, struggled to get them to stay in place as they wouldnt clip onto the ally pin behind the pads so at the minute there all over the place and are touching the disc, what would you recommend and are these cheap pads a waste of time :http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=006&sspagename=STRK:MEWA:IT&viewitem=&item=160057876442&rd=1&rd=

i tried these too...7 rides and they were worn out, even though they were supposed to be sintered.
ive just ordered 2 sets from chain reaction(original hays gold)@œ15.99 a pair.
ok,they are more money but my originals have lasted 9 months now.

i've still got the original pads in my HFX mags after ten months. I have avid juice 5 on another bike that need new (sinitered) pads ever 4 months
However, the thing you said about the pad being loose has happened to one of them, but as it doesnt seem to apply any pressure and can't fall out i have just left it.

lol! you get what you pay for! use original pads or a good make. ebc are usually quite good. make sure it's not a caliper problem. ebc tend to be a mixed compound so they wont last like sintered ones will.
never grow up..... just find a bigger playground!

Did the pads have the ally clips on them? if they are clipping in then maybe the clips arnt bent out enough, they are never going to be right unless there seated properly. i got a nice set off ebay for my nine mags.
