The topeak mountain morph is supposed to be the best mini pump, because it inflates quickly. Also worth a look is the blackburn mammoth (i think this is the one) a while back i think whatmtb did a test on pumps, ask on their forum and someone might be able to look it out, but from the top of my head the above two came out tops.

cheers what do you use ride whenever

I generally use a mini dx, but it is an emergencies only pump, it is utterly useless, i've tried the morph and it is much much better, i'm waiting to kill the mini dx so i can justify buying one. Most of the time i use my track pump because it is much easier.

by the way ride whenever how is your handel bar on your scott becuase i have the same fork, brakes, wheels, grips, shifters etc and was wondering how it rides
centralmtb.myfastforum.org0 -
It's fine, i was having trouble because the old one was a bit narrow for my ridiculously broad shoulders [;)] I'm still not sure i've got it right, because the front feels a bit too high and the seatpost is a bit short, but hopefully this will be sorted out when my thomson post arrives. The front is so light though, it pop up really nicely for obstacles, but can wander on climbs. It is certainly strong and stiff though, there is just enough flex to take the edge of trail buzz but it retains that great stiff feeling, but that might just be because i moved up to OS bars.

have you got the ea70 bar i so which year
centralmtb.myfastforum.org0 -
I bought it second hand from someone on the university team, I'm not sure what year but looking at the original e-mail they were 6 months old in February, so most likely 06 ones.
Yes they are the EA70 though.
Also, tombeme, your link doesn't work.

I've started using an Innovations CO2 inflater for out and about, you can buy them with a saddle-bag type container too. They're quick and easy to use on the trail. They start at around œ15 for a Microflate, then cylinders are available at around 50p each from TyreInflaters.co.uk.
