Ok - so here's the bad story - I am off to the Alps on Wednesday and was just servicing my 2002 Specialized enduro expert when I find a crack in the rear suspension linkage. The big question then is - has anyone got one that I can beg, borrow, steal or but in time to go to the Alps??? Or does anyone know where I can lay my hands on one?
yours hopefully

Tried your LBS? You never know, especially if they have a workshop.

    not working :(

Sometimes it overheats. You have to make sure it's in a ventilated place all the time.

    It's good for you.
  • I tried all my LBS - no one got anything. BETD was the first place I looked but I am happy with handling on the standard linkage - i'm waiting for an e-mail back from them to see how much difference the BETD linkage would make and if its not much then thats the solution - especially as they are superb with fast deliveries.
    cheers for the quick replies

Spesh Frames have lifetime warranties but you may have to check since you're not the original owner.

  • Ok - thanks to all for the suggestions. I can now close this post. Specialized do not make or supply the 02-04 rear linkages anymore - the only way they can get hold of any is if they get an old frame back with a warranty issue and they can then poach it from that. HOWEVER I spoke to BETD at some length and with their linkage on the 5.25" setting there will be very little difference in the frame geometry from the stock part - so that was the solution - AND they can send it next day for me so I can go to Les Gets a happy bunny - apart from being 100 odd quid out of pocket!!!!
