Front Mech

I need a new front mech for my i-drive 7, having took the old one off put a chain device on that cant keep the chain on and a staggering inability to go up steep hills.
The question is I forgot what kind of mech I am in need of. The best way of describing where it is to be attached to a little stump behind the chaing rings.

Looks like it might be an E-type to me. Does it look like it fits around the BB shell?

ISCG mounts or am i thinking of what the chain device attaches to?

Sorry i'm probably confusing it slightly, it doesnt fit round the bb shell nope, theres a kind of stump sticking out of the frame behing the chaingrings that it used to attach to, i'll provide pics if needed.
