Are these bad boys worth the extra œ15 over buying a pir of 5.10s?

Anyone actually worn them?

I just need some new riding shoes (apart from my spuds) for DH racing, and Whistler this Summer.

5.10's are the best shoes on the market. But those do look very very cool

They are identical to the new Impacts, just with white bits & a Marzocchi badge on instead.

Not a brand whore nick, just want to know if I can get any shoes better than 5.10s.

    The question was quite simple...

Something round here tastes bad. Could be plain old bad taste.

well you would be buying 5:10's if you want better look at another maker. ( But as 5:10 is ment to be the best it might be hard to buy better).

the intended question might have been simple but was not thought through.

it is the same question as do I get the Sam Hill or the (whoevers sigit is) 5:10 over a regular 5:10.

Do you want the sig or not?

I just want a decent shoe mate.

I couldn't give a toss if it looked like a dog shat on my feet as long as it rode well...

I'm not too up to date with shoes, other than spuds, and I know 5.10s are supposed to be good, so was just wondering if there ere any better.

The Sam Hill ones look like you might actually be able to wear them normally without looking really stupid though.
