Marzocchi Problems

Anyone had any problems with marzocchi adjustment systems or know how to fix stiff fork adjusters? I was riding whites level at Glyncorrwg and when i tried to adjust the 5 position TST on top of Marzocchi AM 1 fork leg, it was dead stiff and i couldn't move it. I thought grit had got in so I took the adjuster cap on the top of the fork leg off after, cleaned out the inside and tried again, but it still won't move much. I don't know whether some sort of oil before had allowed the system to be adjusted smoothly before something happened?? ANy help appreciated cheers

sounds like it needs a strip and look at.
5 is the lock out position?
will it go into the other positions with no probs? is it just 5? run it through the positions a few times. if that does not help then time to get internal.

well i can occasionally change it but right now its on the middle setting. Do you think a bike shop would charge if i juust asked them to look at it? It seems like it would be a pretty minor thing rather than the actual system not working. something on the trail must have got in0

it seems its a problem with trying to adjust the TST rather than the system itself0

you should have taken it into the shop there! kev would have sorted it!
