New Mp3 Player.

As you may have seen from my other ranting topic, I need a new mp3 player.

But the question remains, do I get a new spangly 80gb HDD for my borked H340 or do I get one of these?

Obviously I don't think I'll be paying for all of it.

I don't mind the larger ipods, I just hate thier interface, Itunes and the sound quality never really compared to my H340, but saying that it may have been because I'm used to the iRiver.

I wish I had my H340 again. Aside from breaking it was the most perfect MP3 player I can imagine existing.

I'm afraid I'm one of the sceptics who claim you can't watch movies comfortably on a portable media player, though, so I'd see no real point in the suggested replacement.
If you do get that, and want to offload your H340, i might be interested.

I watch films on mine. When you are on a 10 hour flight to canada it's a freaking godsend.

Yeah I decided to go with the new 80gb HDD and I'm going to finally put rockbox on it. Woo.

That Iubi looks alright, not for me as I'd prefer the CF card slot of the Vision:W over the choice of uber-slow bluetooth... Which to be honest would be pretty much useless for wireless media sharing, but natty if you want the odd song here and there from a friends phone.

The amount of formats it supports is stonking, though.

They take a standard 1.8" HDD. Just took apart mine now and the HDD is about 7 or 8mm deep.

I remember a few people putting 40's in the 320 but it involved removing the blue padding, which I wasn't too keen about.
