My computer is used to watch films quite often, so wireless keyboard and mouse are useful when sitting on the sofa a few feet away.MBUK0

Been using the MX1000 for at 2-3 years now. Pretty much faultless.
Really don't understand why anyone would use wired mice when these are just as fast and accurate. Plus you don't have the inconvinience of a wire.
That mouse's buttons are all programmable, so you can use this as a "remote" as a secondary function if you wanted.
Buy it!

I have had a few Wireless jobbys - they're OK but nothing to write home about. Unless you're spending >œ20 dont bother with Wireless, so that MX1000 should be fine, but I would still have a wired over wireless.0

This or This.
I use the copperhead. Best mouse I have ever used. Cracks logitech ones in the crotch.

copperhead looks nice, but am I actually gonna notice a difference from a œ30 job? Bearing in mind im not a hardcore gamerMBUK0
-
You do seriously notice a difference - a few friends have Copperheads, DiamondBacks, G5s and G3s and I can say YES they *DO* make a difference.0

Yes, the g7 is expencive. but my god its worth it!
its good playing games. i can adjust sensitivity to suit the weapon class i'm using.
its awesome while photoshopping. because i can make very small, very precise movements.
it feels brilliant to hold. not too heavy, runs smoothly, the buttons are all super smooth. and it has side scroll and a back button.

Looks quite cheap considering it has great reviews...
Laser mice that have wires aren't much less than that!

Why bother? My mouse is cordless, optical and cost me like œ6, 2 years ago. 2 AA's last about 6 months. I can't exactly see the advantage of precision pointing, not for games anyhow. It's not like mine doesn't point where I want it too.

I used to think the cheap ones were ok, but since I played on my mates super posh one and realised mine was utter crap. The good ones feel much better to use than a cheapy oneMBUK0

Matt have you seen the new Razer keyboard? I might have to get one when my Saitek craps out (which will probably be never). *drools*
