Ellsworth / Devinci on ITV's "The Bill" tonight

as mentioned a couple of issues back in MBUK...

ITV's premium cop show "The Bill" is showing tonight on ITV 1 at 8pm, with a special bike chase scene filmed a couple of months back in Greenwich, East London

a mugger is riding a Devinci Hucker bike and is spotted by one of the cops, the cop "borrows" an Ellsworth Rogue freeride bike off a passer by, and gives chase, through the streets and down a big set of stairs, and recovers a huge haul of cash

haven't seen the footage ourselves yet, gonna be interesting [:D]

Basically, Imagine a spiral staircase, quite wide.
Bloke on a Devinci Hucker I think it was, rides down stairs with ease.
Copper on Ellsworth Rogue, cacks his pants, then tank slaps all the way down.

for a UK TV show, the footage / stuntwork wasn't bad..its never going to look like a big $$$ US movie?

if you've ever walked down those stairs into the tunnel (Dulwich) they are very steep (I would go slow without a helmet on [xx(] )

It was bloody awful! Still funny though. Not quite sure why they needed such top end bikes for such a cr*p scene!

Was quite funny how there happened to b a chap strolling along with a 2k bike, just like "yes officer, please have it"
