On a nice shirt, yes. If its obvious that you have just ripped the buttons off a œ3 Matalan shirt then no.

only if the shirt is up to cufflink quality. good quality cotton, and a smart cut, those things will make cufflinks look gooooood.

Just don't try and make your life easier by getting someone else to put them on for you. You end up with curry on your shirt when you're already half and hour late...

I have a few pairs but I wear them everyday to college as its smart suit and tie jobby.

If you're going to wear a white shirt, make it a decent one and make sure it has cufflinks, unless you want to look like a schoolboy?

The concept of cufflinks is cool, but most are awful(ie compass's , pill holders, anything large, gold etc etc)
I have maybe 4 sets.
Tie pins anyone?

Matching cuff links and tie pins look cool. I think cufflinks are a good idea, but only if the shirt is nice enough. Otherwise it just looks odd. They're both functional and stylish (depending on which design you get!) so a yay from me.

I really don't like novelty cufflinks. they're just tacky. If you're going to wear a nice shirt then wear nice accessories with it!

Y'need to be more careful with cufflink choice on black shirts. They show the cufflinks off a lot more.

Plain and simple brushed steel effect, with an itsy bitsy diamond in the corner.

I don't have any shirts. Cufflinks would look a bit spazz on a T-shirt, so I don't own any

Hmmm, t-shirt cufflinks. I think you're on to something. I've got a nice pair of solid silver ones, just two plates of silver with a chain between, engraved. Classy.0

I've got a pink thomas pink pair that look fantastic on a black shirt, and some stripey paul smith ones. I had some gold ones with blue enamelling but i've lost them. I'm gunning for some silver ones with my monogram on for my birthday i think.

I have a solid silver set, designed and made by my grandad before he died.
I dont wear them enough to get any more. But simple ones work in all situations, novelty ones can look cr<s></s>ap.
And black shirts are the way forward. I feel like a complete bellend in white shirts most of the time. Its like being back in school.

I cannot find a decent quality white shirt that is cool in the summer but doesn't show my nipples and thus look crap. So i wear black and coloured ones.

maybe you guys should organise some kind of biking meet-up.
a 4x race weekend, or something, where everybody has to be dressed formally, in nice crisp shirts, with cufflinks, waistcoats etc.
that could be a good laugh!
