Panoramic Photos

Ok, I had a go at doing a panoramic photo, but because I'm a total tard, and the sun was setting, each photo is in different light like this. Is there any way in which I can change the lighting, like is it only Brightness / Contrast that I need to change, or is there a special way to take the photos?
Thanks.

You need to play around with the brightness/contrast/saturation.
didn't do bad with the composition though!

what program did you use to stitch it together?MBUK0

Probably PS.
Although, putting it together is quite easy with any image software. It's the matching where it starts to get fun.

Macromedia Fireworks, I prefer it to PS, although it probably isn't as good.

When you take the actual photos, you need to take a light-meter reading across the whole of the scene, and then figure out a rough balance for the exposure. You then have to set this exposure manually on the camera so that it doesn't try to change the exposure whilst you are taking the photos. This guarentees that all the photos come out the same so that you can stitch them together more easily.
This example was taken using manual exposure as mentioned above, it's made up of about 5-6 shots put together in Photoshop 7 so I didn't have any of that fancy auto-stitching to help me out sadly.
Fireworks really isn't the best tool for the job, sorry.

Yup, manual settings and tweaking is the way. There's a (tiny) one of mine here, nowhere near Mike's standard though. Maybe one day!

One of my friends is a dab hand at panoramics, far better than I am. He has a lot more kit for it though.

Go to photography -> panoramics, you'll need Quicktime Plugin though.
