AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! [:(!]

My dad keeps borrowing my bike tools/oil/etc.

But he doesnt just use the stuff at our yard, he takes it to my sisters. He doesnt even ask, so i'm unaware, take my bike to bits and can't get it back together again!

Last night I asked him where my white spirit had gone and he said it's round my sisters, oh and he used it then burnt it on a fire.
Not even an apology.

He uses my bike oil on his lawnmower.
Uses my cable cutters to cut random things.

I can't kick off though cos he will just say "move out then".

*end rant*

How do you take your bike apart without the tools with which to put them back?

just put them somewhere safe. in a locked toolbox, or in your room.

my dad has lost all of his tools comes and asks to borrow mine and then makes a comment that mine look like his but gives them back anyway. the best way in my opinion would be either to lock them up or speak to your dad and say that he could atleast aqsk before borrowing and return them when hes finished

Meh! Kids! Substitute Dad for Kids in your original post and you would have the problems I have to deal with! [V]

Yeah, I was just thinking that. Most of what's in toolbox belongs to my dad...

All of my toolbox belongs to my dad pretty much - minus the park tool allen key set.

Makes b*gger all difference to me anyway, I'm the sh*test bike mechanic you'll ever meet; I just get other people to fix stuff for me, or I don't fix it...

See, my Dad never minds me stealing his stuff. If I tell him, he just buys himself a newer, shinier version [:D]
