i am a little miffed to find the new pads i bought (genuine hope ones) don't seem to want to fit in my brake. The pads themselves are ok, but the little skewer that goes through the holes to hold it in place are too short, they just about go into the hole on the other side, is this how it should be or should they go right through so that the bits of wire can then be put in place?
I find it disturbing that this is flummoxing me and i can't find the old pads to try the skewer that came with them
help!
