Truvativ Boxguide or Identiti CDR?

i'm thinking of getting one or the other, but not sure which would be best
i've heard a lot of good things about the truvativ, but my friend has the identiti, and hasnt had any problems with it, so thought i might get that as it is slightly cheaper
however, it is also very noisy - is this the same with the truvativ?
cheers

Boxguide is silent.
Buy the Boxguide, can be bought for about œ25-30 from various eBay shops.

i recently got the old version of the boxguide namely the hussefelt 2, same design from what i can see, works very well indeed so far, aint dropped the chain once, fairly quiet, feels solid enough and very adjustable so no real complaints. Especially since i only paid 17.50 for it off a dude on sdh and that was posted. Bonza

Sorry to resurrect it but...
If you set it up exactly correct, you should have no problems with a bash.
However if the plastic gets worn at all the chain starts to skip out. I've had it jump completely out of the guide and twist the chainlink sideways.
Oh and I got your email but couldn't email back. It isn't in Oxfordshire.

Although i don't have one, several mates do. The bogurad is silent, and if you want, i have seen a guy fit a bash guard and then mark it on the outer box of the guard, take it all of and trim back the boxguard, giving you the best of both worlds
