serviceing prices

i have a shimano disc brack whitch needs a new hose and bleeding and new pads and i have a speshlized hardrock sport 06. how much do you think it will cost for a service and how much dose evey one elces pay for the serviceing. thanks for you time

    go ask your lbs. how are we supposed to know what your lbs will charge?

    Depends on how full a service I am after normally will get three quotes from my lbs shop cheap, get it done or get it done with bells and whistles on.

    For that, i wouldn't pay anything [:D] beyond parts (œ30). You should look at œ50 i'd imagine, but considering how annoying you are around œ75

    My LBS charges œ35 for a full service ,( new cables, gear setup, wheel true, headset and BB grease, and general clean and lube )

    i think thats what you wanna be paying for ... no more for any less.

    but then they charge œ50 for a fork service !!!!
    can it be that hard and costly ??

    œ215 for new rear wheel, new bottom bracket, new chain and casette, forks stripped and rebuilt, new gear cables and new wheel checked trued after being ridden on for a while.

    where i work we charge œ25 for a full service and œ8 for a brake bleed

    I'd have thought around the œ50 mark for new hose, pads and fitting.
    Why don't you just get a price for the hose and get the pads yourself ?
