Buckled wheels

I somehow never have any luck with wheels, I always seem to end up with a bent rear! I am currently riding a hardtail and have recently replaced the rear wheel with a mavic crossride and after a couple of outings this too has buckled. It's got to the point where I'm considering buying a full sus frame- but will this reduce the chances of buckling the rear wheel?[V]

I'd get a stronger wheel,
I'm a hard rider and I've never had much of a problem with my single tracks,
I'd go for a single track / EX721 on hope pro 2, They should be strong enough!

What type of riding you doing??

As you dont want a light xc wheel for downhill riding for example.

The mavic crossride is a light weight xc wheel, you must be doing more than xc to buckle it.

Did you get the spoke tension checked after you bedded them in?

I have to admit, I have been getting in to some tougher stuff of late but would'nt have considered this at the time. Sounds like I need to Upgrade my wheels again any recommendations for a rear wheel? (Budget œ150)

i got my ex721 on pro 2 last friday from stif for œ138 (excl œ9 p&p), its a bloo<u></u>dy strong wheel, and is very light.
