Don't worry, I'm just a lowly studio engineer.
I suppose I have to do the obligatory blah blah blah please support the artists by buying cds blah blah blah piracy blah blah evil blah blah.

But seriously though, you never know who's on a public forum, it is pretty friggin stupid to openly advertise yourself ripping off CDs somewhere like this. You're not as anonymous as you may think.

I know P2P is hardly anonymous either, but all it would take here would be an email to an admin, asking for your details. Under normal circumstances, this would be dissallowed (data protection act), but openly admiting to ripping off music would be grounds enough for such a thing to be plausible, even as part of a criminal investigation.
Hell, you could be sat at home a few days from now when suddenly there's a knock at the door to take your 'puter away to examine it's contents, and you could find yourself in some serious hot water.
remember that it's not just artists who lose out to piracy, even the receptionists, the cleaners, the engineers, the assistants, everybody (in the company) is paid from the profits of music sales.

I'm not one to be bothered with things like that, I'm just giving some neutral advice.
