Wrist Supports

After a day of jumping yesterday, my wrists are quite sore, and hurt when I flex them.
So I figured I'd do something about it.
Firstly, I was wondering if it might be something to do with the stiffness of my forks.
Secondly, I want a set of wrist supports. They don't have to be bike related, any will do, but I'd like a pair for less than œ15.
I'm grateful for any recommendations.
Cheers.

Spend œ15 on buying a Powerball to strengthen them wrists! If you're just aching from hard riding (jumping whatever) then train that area. If not you'll just support a weak area which won't help in the long term.
Only my opinion though;)0 -
Have a look at the 661 wrist wrap lite off chain reaction. They don't look too bulky so you'll still get good grip on your bars.0

Powerball sounds like a good idea. I'll look into that.
Saw the wrist wrap lite, but its œ12 for one. Both my wrists ache. Thats œ24. Not very desirable.

you can get special wrist tape from martial-arts suppliers for around a tenner.its re-usable.kester0
-
Maybe start off using wrist tape to aid support in the short term but try and built your wrists up in the long term, power balls and even light weights can help. Or just take lots of pain killers and anti inflams and get on with it! ;D0

Wrist tape and a powerball it is then.
Cheers for the help.
New question.
Do I go for a REAL powerball, or do I get a cheapo copy version that probably does the same thing.

I've heard of the cheapo ones wobbling and making it more difficult to get the thing spinning nicely
The real ones are only about œ12 for the basic model anyway

I just got the regular one. Still a powerball, but no lights, no display. If I feel a display is a necessity, I'll stick my current one on ebay and get one with a display.

Glad you went for the Powerball. A mate had a nasty wrist injury and was loaned one from the hospital (who use them all the time for physio etc). Just persevere for the first few uses as getting them up to really high speed has a bit of a knack in itself. You can really feel how it works the muscles though. Good luck mate!0
