I've been the proud owner of a Spesh Enduro Pro (the original one from 2002 - that's just won bike of the decade in another publication), and although I love the bike to bits, I am wondering if it is time for a change. I could get a new bike, or I could save myself a few pennies and get myself new front and rear shocks for the Spesh, and upgrade the bushings on the pivots (anyone know about this?), and keep my beloved trusty steed.
So, what should I do?

Cheers

what budget would you be looking at for a new bike, i am pretty sure it was the 03/04 one that won the bike of th decade, not the 02. it could be worth upgrading your current steed, depending on what your budget is. and as you say, you love your bike, so you "could" be answering your own question there as you may not find a bike with geometry as suited to you as yours...

Budget's not too much of an issue - new steeds I have been considering are the E5 and the Felt Virtue. But, the fit of the Spesh is 'just right'...
