I've got that "My Book". Got it from Amazon about 4 months ago for about œ60 delivered, Works great and Ive never had any problems with it

I'm not to keep in the 'My Book' as I've read numerous reviews about the plastic case being to fragile, the drive making clunking noises and then failing.

depends how much you're gonna move it about. I hardly ever move mine so fragility isnt an issue.

Western Digital are pretty good in my opinion. I'd personally choose Seagate over WD, but you're not gonna get a bad product if you buy from them.

just looking on maplin website and the one your looking at is œ70 so it looks like you'd get a good deal

I've had the 250GB version of this for sometime now and use it heavily and take it on the road with me all the time. I have no complaints - it's very well built and is fast. I am in fact about to buy myself another larger (500GB+) version

be warned though the included USB cable was really short on mine.

and cheap! might have to buy it. And does anyone know why these drives are always formatted to FAT, so you have to reformat to NTFS yourself? seems pointless
