It says not to use any detergants on it.

You can buy tent cleaner in outdoor shops or use Nikwax Techwash. But try and gently brush off the worst of it before you start. Next time - hang the tent up on the line or in the bathroom to dry as soon as you get back, rather than leaving it in the bag. No more mould - magic! If you keep getting mould on it, and keep needing to clean it, your loose the waterproofness = needing to apply waterproofer, or another new tent!

If you wash it, you could re-proof it ( the spray shizz-nit ). or just warm water and a cloth.

Ok - sorry, missed the bit about it just being on the inner (well - just got carried away! lol). Just use a bit of tech wash and warm water in the sink. Normal detergents can damage the membranes.

true but the inner tend doesn't have the DWR membrane or a laminated fabric which is what gets damaged by the additives in cleaning agents
what colour is the inner tent? Is it a mesh one?

best bet is to put the tent up to let it air out when you get back, assuming its dry.
other option is put it up inside to air off
