juicy 5 clicking lever

bought a rear juicy 5 the other day, and was faffing with the lever and pushed it in the opposite direction to you would pull it to break, and it clicked in 2 a different place, and i kept clicking it in and out and i have no idea what the point of it is, to check it wasnt broken i went in my LBS and they all did it there aswell, does any body know why they do this? cheers

why do yuo care, its cool, loads of my friends ride with juicy5s and juicy7s and they sit there and click them all the time. not to sure why? i think someone at some point told me it was for when you crash it doesnt ruin the brake or something.

It's so that if you crash you only knacker the lever and not the internals of the brake.0
