Ok no names, no pack drill, but i have been looking at new tyres for the bike, and was in at what was my LBS, they are a Specialized dealer and they told me to keep clear of Specialized tyres as they are "slow" compared to other makes.
Anyone got any views on this?

All I know about Specialized tyres is they have really thin sidewalls that can be prone to pinchflats.

Yeah, the specialized tyre that came stock on my bike got a torn sidewall within months of having bought the bike. It was weird, I was on a road doing about 20 when the tyre completely blew for seemingly no reason. Could have just been cheap tubes but when I looked, there was a tear in the sidewall.
Meh, the front tyre has lasted fine since september...

The Fast Track Pro's on my bike are quick rolling and lightweight. I ride Llandegla and mostly rocky terrain. No pinch flats-no punctures-no tears-no problems!
Specialized spend fortunes on development and next years tyres look even more exciting!0 -

They're actually pretty rapid, but totally useless in the wet. Sketchy times on a stock enduro...0

Something round here tastes bad. Could be plain old bad taste.

Thin sidewalls and wear poorly hence good for Liam as very light but not good for your average bod.0
