Bolt Size?

CBA to post this in Tech....

Okay so the local RaceFace dealer isn't being that helpful. Anyone know the bolt size required for one of these posts:

I snapped mine a while ago and wish to obtain a replacement one.

An idiot's guide on how to measure the bolt to obtain the correct size may help.

I've also e-mailed Race Face directly as Silver Fish will only refer me to the aforementioned dealer.

Measure the threaded section of bolt. probably going to be somewhere between M7-M10 though. (M number being the diameter of the bolt iirc)

capt. take the threaded bit to a bolt shop and find what screws in. at a guess M8.

Most single bolt seatposts are M8. A stainless one'll cost no more than a quid.

Got a response from Race Face, the correct size is: M8X1.25X26MM.

So have ordered a rather nice Ti one. [:D]
